His guest artist is Maria Muldaur but the band itself features a host of equally legendary names, including Albert Lee, whose lightning-fast speed has earned him a reputation as the guitarist’s guitarist, and Georgie Fame, rhythm and blues, jazz singer and keyboard player.

On Saturday night, one of the hardest working figures in modern music, Paul Carrack, is set to take to the Guild Hall stage again. The former vocalist of Mike and The Mechanics and the voice behind worldwide hits such as How Long by Ace, and Squeeze’s Tempted, Paul also recently toured the US as a member of Eric Clapton’s band.
