The Belfast punk band, led by frontman and founder Jake Burns, made it to the Brook Street venue on March 10 this year but then realised that original bassist McMordie
(pictured above in mid-leap) was too sick to perform.

Burns issued a statement to disappointed fans, saying: “We’d like to make a huge apology to everyone at 53 Degrees in Preston. Ali was impossibly ill.

“Hopefully, it’s nothing worse than severe food
poisoning but the poor guy was violently sick in the dressing room and terribly distraught at what he saw as letting
everyone down. We are also hoping to re-schedule the show as soon as we can.”

Tomorrow he keeps his word. Tickets are still on sale at £20 plus booking fee on 01772 893000.
