Beer here now – Preston ale festival

Beer buffs will be making a ‘beerline’ for the Parish Centre of St Walburge’s in Ashton.

The festival is an opportunity to spend time in a great historic building, drink a great variety of beers and enjoy great music.

There will also be food courtesy of the festival catering team.

The event will also raise funds for ongoing restoration work at the site, and also to support projects which will enhance the use of the church hall by the wider community.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “Come along and enjoy a beer (or a few) knowing you are helping maintain a piece of history.”
