Starting off with some ‘60s classics, including numbers from The Beatles, Stones and the Kinks, they added an ‘80s tune in the form of Chris Rea’s The Road To Hell.

The second set raised the tempo with a few more ‘60s and ‘70s classics. They included fantastic versions of Queen’s We Will Rock You, The Doors’ Roadhouse Blues and Spencer Davies’s Gimme Some Lovin. They also offered an inventive take on Peter Green’s Need Your Love So Bad to cool things down.

Closing the evening we had a bit of rock ‘n’ roll with Chuck Berry’s Johnny Be Goode, the Deep Purple classic Smoke On The Water and Status Quo’s Rockin’ All Over The World.

The final number of the set was a thundrous run through Hendrix Hey Joe.

Seasoned musicians who come together to play music they love.
