The exhibition at Oxheys Mill Studios is inspired by Preston’s industrial heritage, said a spokesman.

“Where the imagination wanders and machine type sculptures take on an almost ambiguous presence between sci-fi and urban decay,” they added.

Bunce is known for his dynamic and colourful abstract ceramics and Pilling for his innovative films.

The pair have combined their talent for the show, which runs until September 20, Fridays and Saturdays only, from 10am-4pm.

Both artists live and create their work in Preston Lancashire.

Bunce said: “The show is a great opportunity for the both of us to work together and display our work in the city we live.”

Pilling’s films and music videos have been screened at film festivals both nationally and internationally.

Oxheys Mill Gallery in Stanhope Street is one of few galleries in Preston where emerging and better-known artists can display their work.
