BREAKING NEWS: Motorcyclist dies after collision

A motorcyclist has reportedly died this evening after a crash in Preston.

Police believe the attack in Endcliffe Park was unprovoked.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a black BMW and a black Kawasaki bike collide on London Road shortly before 8pm.

A number of drivers stopped while other passers-by, including an off-duty policeman tried to resuscitate the man.

But they could not save him and he is understood to have died at the scene.

Eyewitness Peter Charles, from Clayton-le-Woods, told the website BlogPreston: “Having to push a car off someone and seeing them take their last breath is the most upsetting thing I’ve ever seen.

“Thoughts go out to his family and friends.”

The road was closed last night in both directions from Queen Street to Frenchwood Avenue.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
