Voice star misses top 20 spot

The Voice winner Kevin Simm has failed to break into the top 20.

Chorley’s Kevin Simm, 35, was crowned the winner of the BBC’s singing competition after a public vote, and released his version of the winning song, All My Good Friends.

But, far from achieving The Voice’s first number one, Kevin, who appeared to be on course for the song to enter the top 10 at the beginning of the week, ended up debuting at number 24.

Kevin, who is originally from Leyland but now lives in now lives in Whittle-le-Woods, sang his own version of Rihanna’s ballad Stay in the final of the competition.
