Preston North End team news for Wolves Carabao Cup clash with former Barcelona stars facing the Lilywhites

Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe has rung the changes for their Carabao Cup second round tie with Wolves.

Lowe has made seven changes to the side that drew 0-0 with Watford on Saturday.

Matthew Olosunde is the surprise addition to the side, coming in for his first involvement this season. Olosunde was transfer listed in the summer but has kept a place in the North End squad and has been training with them throughout the summer, including going on their pre-season tour in Spain.

Dai Cornell comes in for his PNE debut, having joined on a free transfer from Peterborough United in the summer.

Jordan Storey keeps his place from the weekend and is partnered by Patrick Bauer who comes in for his second start of the season, with Greg Cunningham rounding up the backline following up his substitute appearance against the Hornets.

Olosunde will start on the right side, with Daniel Johnson at left wing back.

Ben Whiteman maintains his 100 per cent record for PNE this season, with Ali McCann and Ben Woodburn also in the centre of midfield.

Emil Riis comes back into the starting XI, with Ched Evans getting his first start of the season.

Wolves boast plenty of high profile names in their side, with Portugal international Joao Moutinho in the heart of their midfield, alongside recent £35m addition Matheus Nunes.

Adama Traore, who spent part of last at Barcelona, also starts, with former Barca right back Nelson Semedo.
