Talented sixth former Max Moore has had his work shortlisted in a national competition.
The Carr Hill High Schooland Sixth Form student’s work is among the cream making the cut in a national competition, which features photography from students across the country.
Max’s entry is a shot of fellow student Rhys Phillips.
The image was taken while Rhys, who is a member of the Sporting Elite Rugby Academy, was representing the Kirkham school at a regional fixture.
Entries have been coming in for months and the shortlisting process has taken weeks due to the volume of entries.
Max’s entry is now available to view online with only a handful of other images which made it through the shortlisting process.
His photography teacher at the Royal Avenue school, Miss Vikki Wignall said: “We are thrilled that Max’s entry has been shortlisted.”
She added: “This achievement is a fantastic addition to Max’s CV .
“It puts him in a brilliant position if he chooses to go on to study photography at university or apply for a photography apprenticeship.”
