YOUR WEDDING: Bryn McMillan and Amanda Shewan
They chose Christmas Eve for their wedding day at The Villa in Wrea Green and wove plenty of Christmas magic into a day they will remember forever.
“I couldn’t think of a better day to become Bryn’s wife,” said Amanda.

The couple have their own business McMillan Dental Laboratory and met nine years ago at the gym.
For Amanda’s 29th birthday, Bryn whisked her away to Edinburgh, a place she loved because of its history – and proposed at the top of Edinburgh Castle.
“It was so lovely,” said Amanda. “Everyone clapped and cheered, I didn’t expect it at all. He’s so thoughtful.

The couple chose Christmas for their wedding because they simply love that time of year.
Amanda said: “Our theme for the wedding was navy blue and silver.”
“All my girls were in navy blue with silver jewellery as well as the men in navy blue.

“On the morning of our wedding, Bryn had me a gift which was a Swarovski crystal heart with a note telling me how much he couldn’t wait for me to be his wife.
“The note was so lovely, I just couldn’t wait to get to the altar.”
On the morning of the wedding, Amanda told Bryn she had booked him a taxi – only for him to find there was actually a Range Rover with silver and navy blue bows waiting outside the house to take him to his wedding.
