Firefighters rushed to the M6 northbound after vehicle burst into flames near Lancaster

Fire crews from Fulwood, Preston, Garstang and Lancaster rushed to the scene, reportedly located between junction 32 and Lancaster Services, at around 10.30pm yesterday (January 18).

Firefighters equipped with four four breathing apparatus used one hose reel to douse the flames.

No injuries were reported.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were at the scene for approximately one hour.
