The Conservative Government's head of law was greeted by Lancashire Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner candidate Andrew Snowden.
Dressed in a navy blue dress paired with a white and blue jacket, Ms Patel, the MP for Witham in Essex, arrived outside the Holmes Mill restaurant in Clitheroe just before 12-30pm, drawing crowds of socially-distanced guests who were sat outside enjoying food and drinks in the glorious sunshine.

"We are coming out of this coronavirus pandemic with the roadmap and I can't think of anywhere nicer to be on a day like this."
Mr Snowden commented: "’The Home Secretary’s visit is to highlight the importance of electing a Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner she can work constructively with to make Lancashire safer. I will work directly with Priti and her team to get the continued investment into Lancashire to recruit more police officers and put more police on the beat - as a visible police presence is crucial to making our streets safer."
Ms Patel spoke to members of the press outside the Holmes Mill establishment before enjoying a spot of lunch at the busy venue.
