Long queues on m-way network after smash
Traffic was caught in a rush hour snarl-up after a car and a lorry collided on the M6 near Preston.
Two lanes of the southbound carriageway were closed between Broughton and Samlesbury, causing tailbacks on both the M6 and the M55.
Police say the smash happened around 3.40 this afternoon and work on clearing the damaged vehicles affected lanes one and two of four.
