The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is organising free CPR training sessions on Thursday September 7
The sessions - at South Ribble Tennis Centre on Cuerden Way, Bamber Bridge - is aimed to improve community awareness of what to do when you witness a cardiac arrest.
BHF Area Manager, Trudy Warburton, said: “We estimate that up to 5,000 more lives could be saved every year if CPR was taught more widely.”
There are two classes running, one from 10.30am to 12.30pm and the second from 2pm to 4pm.
Each session includes CPR training, information about defibrillator usage and the recovery position, and an opportunity to ask questions.
You can reserve a place by emailing Debra Day at firstname.lastname@example.org, telephoning 07795451911, or calling into South Ribble Tennis Centre.
