Ballers Sports Bar in Preston is looking to extend its opening hours '“ to open from 8am.

Bosses of the all-American sports bar in Friargate want to bring forward the opening time from 12noon to 8am.

They are applying for the licence from Preston City Council.

Along with changing the opening times, the bar is hoping that the licence will allow it to play music and serve alcohol from 8am as well.

Ballers celebrated its launch night with a visit from international DJ Basshunter in September (inset).

It opened after a £300,000 refurbishment and kicked off in style welcoming the dance artist to a student night.
