The champs are due to be held in Prague in August and Liv, 19, announced last month that she would be back to defend the Super Ball title she won last year.

But she posted on social media earlier today that she had injured her ankle and was out of the tournament.

She said: “During a performance for the Premier League today I injured my foot.

“I won’t be recovered in time for the competition unfortunately.

“Which is an absolute shame as there was, as people could tell, not a single doubt in my mind I was going to bring that second world title home with me.

"But, everything happens for a reason so I’m already working on other projects trying to find this reason. And, to be honest these days setbacks just excite me because I know I always bounce back stronger."
