TV heart-throbs from two very different eras will make an appearance at a Preston nightclub this weekend.
While Jake Hall has recently been setting hearts aflutter on hit ITV show The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE), Pat Sharp first made his name in the 80s as a radio DJ, children’s TV icon – and champion of quirky haircut, the mullet!
Both will make an appearance at Cameo in Preston tomorrow night, to the delight of fans, who have swamped the club’s Facebook page with inquiries.
Jake will be swapping the TV screen to headline a glamorous party night, complete with a special guest appearance and a meet and greet session with fans, while Pat will also be joining him on the night as he hits the decks in the retro room, Vinyl.
Pat became a household name in the 80s and 90s as a children’s TV presenter, and was best known for programmes including Top of the Pops and game show Fun House – and his spiky mullet hair cut.
He has since gained a new following DJ-ing at student events and has also appeared in the jungle in I’m in A Celebrity.
Entertainment is at the heart of what we do. It’s all about giving people a compelling reason to come out and what better than a TOWIE star and the retro thrills of Pat Sharp
Cameo & Vinyl’s general manager Dave Brown said: “Entertainment is at the heart of what we do. It’s all about giving people a compelling reason to come out and what better than a TOWIE star and the retro thrills of Pat Sharp.
“We’re sure they will receive an enthusiastic Preston welcome!”
Cameo & Vinyl Preston launched last year following a £250,000 investment, which transformed the club into a stylish venue sporting private booths with table service.
The celebrations start at 9pm with drinks offers, a champagne reception, and a complimentary limousine service from Church Street to the venue in Market Street.
