Business chiefs have revealed that Preston’s Christmas TV advert will again air across the North West from December 1.
The finishing touches are being put to the package, which will be seen by millions of potential visitors.
It will be aired on ITV Granada to an estimated potential audience of 4.5m people, funded by Preston’s Business Improvement District.
It will be shown a total of 20 times, starting at 2.58pm on December 1.
BID events manager Mark Whittle said of the advert: “It’s creating the concept and feeling of Christmas being a family time and evoking that connection, rather than being an advert based purely on our physical offer.”
The city’s Christmas package began with the Christmas lights switch-on November 14 and was followed by the arrival of a five-week long Lancashire Market Christmas Festival.
The switch-on came after a major £50,000 investment by BID into the city’s Christmas lighting.
