Bad news this week as we reported that several of our well-loved beer festivals are not taking place.

Our story that the popular Walmer Bridge Beer and Banger Festival was to call time was met with sadness (you can read that story here), and the famous Cuerden Valley event will also not take place this year, but fear not! These beer, cider and gin festivals are very much forthcoming:

Hopfest Beer, Gin and Music Festival. Lightfoot Green Ln, Preston PR4 0AP
Continental Beer & Cider Festival #19. South Meadow Lane, Preston PR1 8JP
'Owd Nell's 12th Cider Festival. St Michael's Rd, Bilsborrow, Preston PR3 0RS
The Plungington Gin Festival. The Plungington Hotel, Lytham Rd, Fulwood, Preston PR2 3AR
The Croston Wheatsheaf Beer Festival. Town Road, Croston, Leyland PR26 9RA
Preston Beer Festival was planned at the Guild Hall in Lancaster Road, Preston, but the future of the venue has cast doubt on the event now taking place
Cureden Valley Park Beer Festival will not go ahead this year, but hopes to return in 2020
