Exhibition on Screen - Lucian Freud: A Self Portrait, The Harris, Preston, Wednesday, January 15

For the first time in history the Royal Academy of Arts in London, in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, is bringing together Lucian Freud’s self-portraits. The exhibition will display more than 50 paintings, prints and drawings in which this modern master of British art turned his unflinching eye firmly on himself. Join The Harris next week for ‘Exhibition on Screen - Lucian Freud: A Self Portrait’ and take a closer look at one of his paintings from their collection. Stargazing at Brockholes, Samlesbury, Friday, January 17

Robert Ince will be your guide taking you on an incredible journey through the constellations and along the Milky Way. He will tell you more about how we need to protect dark skies and show startling images and videos. Even if the weather does not co-operate there will also be talks, hands on help with telescopes and friendly advice on how to get started in this wonderful hobby.
