In pictures: Fun day for Noah's Ark cat sanctuary

A family fun day raised more than £800 to help a cat sanctuary take care of vulnerable pets.

Crowds gathered round Lostock Hall Conservative Club to support Noah’s Ark, in Tarleton, which looks after ill and mistreated cats.

The event was organised by Bex Fields, with the support of Noah’s Ark owners Julie Bell and John Wareing.

Families enjoyed playing the tombola and browsed around the many stalls.

Children also had fun on the bouncy castle.

Overall, the event raised £888 which will go towards vet bills, cat food and cat litter for the 70 cats at Noah’s Ark.
