Get your skates on for milestone event at Moor Park Skate park
Skate shop Scene Preston is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a major event at Moor Park Skate park on Sunday May 28.
The shop first opened its doors in May 1997, as the first and only skater-owned and operated store in Preston.

That will be followed by an after party which takes place in the evening at the Blitz club.
Scene came from humble beginning with a premises that initially only included an area for boards and a till.
Since then it has moved premises twice, but kept true to its roots and stayed on Friargate.

Hide AdWorking with Preston Council, the firm championed the creation of the skate park at Moor Park.
That will be the focal point of the Bank Holiday skate event.
A spokesman said: ““Alongside a jam and best trick comp, the drainage in the bowl has been fixed recently so Frosty’s Bowl Comp is on!
“There will be a Live Art Wall, food and music and loads of prizes and giveaways.”
The free event runs from noon until 7pm.

Hide AdPart Two is an all-night party Mash-up at Blitz Preston. It runs from 10pm to 6am and features two rooms and two sound systems.
Room 1DJs include Nic Sasquash (Operation Sound System’s Head Honcho); Henzo (Strange Riddims); and Elior (Bhavana)
Room 2 includes Roskrypz (live Hip Hop performance) .
