And on June 4 Preston’s Ashton Park will come alive with a massive get-together that celebrates neighbourliness.

The Big Lunch is the annual charity get together for neighbours.

It’s a day where neighbours and members of communities can stop what they’re doing and come together to share a free meal. And there is a whole host of attractions lined up at the park.

There are stalls, bouncy castles, a funfair, tombolas, slush drinks, ice creams and the fun Its A Knockout contest.

The stage line up includes Dani Wallace, Dance Syndrome, Harry Hodgson, Kidz 4 Kidz, Sparkles Dance, the Inspirations, Charlotte Lily and Alexandra and Isis Hodgson.

A Big Lunch spokesman said: “All is looking exceptionally good.”

Any teams interested in Its A Knockout should contact Jacky Hohol on 07775 532529.
