Preston Guild Hall install giant 22-foot screen ready for England's first World Cup match

Well, the waiting is finally over as Gareth Southgate’s lions will tonight feature for the first time at Russia 2018 and what better way to watch Harry Kane smash a hat-trick than on a giant screen?

Preston’s Guild Hall has installed a 22-foot high definition screen in the grand hall especially for the tournament - the biggest in the city - with the games against Tunisia this evening and against Panama on June 24 booked in.

There is free entry from 5pm with offers on food and drink throughout the evening, free nibbles and DJ sets before and after the match.
