Roller World is bursting onto the scene with its official opening on Friday.
It is situated in Campbell Street, Preston and is the brainchild of the people behind the neighbouring Wacky World.
Excitement is building and a Facebook page has had more than 2,000 likes.
The team said on Facebook: “Roller World Preston is going to look fabulous”.
Wacky World took over what was Little Monsters Play Centre in Campbell Street.
Wacky World Preston caters for children and adults alike and hosts specialist sessions catering for all.
Three local entrepreneurs Haydn Price, Darren Ofsarnie and Francis Faldoun are the men behind the Wacky World play park.
Now they have moved onto creating a roller skating park – again aimed at all ages.
Shane Robinson of Roller World said: “It’s Preston’s first dedicated roller rink. It’s a trend that is taking off all over the country.
“We are going to cater for all ages from five upwards.”
With a background of music and other fun ideas, the organisers aim to introduce themed events.
It will be open five days a week and the new venture has created around 20 - new jobs
Shane said: “Wacky World is going great and we are sure this will be very popular too.”
