Only a handful of seats remain unsold for Sir Elton John’s gig at the Leigh Sports Village (LSV) this weekend.
More than 10,000 fans will attend the open air concert to see the superstar singer-songwriter launch a summer tour, which will take him to Nottingham, Buckinghamshire, Colchester and Newcastle.
Leigh is excitedly gearing up for what promises to be thetown’s biggest gig in decades, with the stadium ready to ‘crocodile rock’ to hits which have sold millions of copies around the world.
LSV chief executive Simon Toon said: “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Elton John in Leigh, and we’d hate for anyone to think they’re going to miss the chance to see him perform some of the greatest pop of our times.
“There are just a few tickets left so act now to avoid disappointment.”
Sir Elton will be joined on stage by up-and-coming electro-pop duo Bright Light Bright Light, with whom he recently collaborated on single I Wish We Were Leaving.
A few tickets remain on sale and are available by ringing 0844 8472441 or visiting www.ticketmaster.co.uk
