Renowned street artist Temper is bringing a display of his graffiti-style works to a Preston gallery.

The cover:versions exhibition at The Original Art Shop in Fishergate features graffiti-style reworkings of classic album covers.

Temper, born Arron Bird in Wolverhampton, said: “My first introduction to art was seeing album covers in a cousin’s house and this is something that has always stuck with me. I’ve always been known for my photo realism and this collection has allowed me to explore a new medium.”

Robin Carter, The Original Art Shop’s Gallery owner, said: “It’s so exciting to have Temper’s work at the gallery. Music has such an impact on our lives that I’m sure everyone will relate to cover:versions.”

The prints are on display now and some are for sale.
