DENZEL WASHINGTON has revealed his most prized award is one presented to him by his daughter.

The two-time Oscar winner - who is up for a third Academy Award for his portrayal of an alcoholic pilot in Flight - attended the 2013 Oscar Nominee Luncheon in Los Angles, along with fellow nominees including JENNIFER LAWRENCE, ANNE HATHAWAY, AMY ADAMS, JESSICA CHASTAIN and BRADLEY COOPER.

Recalling his fondest memory of being nominated, Denzel reportedly said: “My daughter drew a picture of Oscar, and it said, ‘You’re my Oscar anyway. Plus, I don’t like KEVIN SPACEY’. It’s right next to the other (awards).”

Denzel, who has four children, was nominated for best actor for The Hurricane in 1999 but lost out to Kevin for American Beauty.

VICTORIA BECKHAM has confessed that she misses the US after moving back to Europe.

The Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer has been spending time in London with her brood after husband DAVID quit US football team LA Galaxy.

In a webchat with Elle magazine, the mum-of-four said: “I miss LA! I love America and am very excited to be in New York for Fashion Week.”

But she added: “I’m enjoying spending time in London.”

BEYONCE has revealed her daughter Blue Ivy can sing and dance along to her hit Single Ladies.

The star - whose first child with husband Jay-Z is now 12 months old - revealed on NFL Network’s Super Bowl Live how her daughter had learned the moves from children’s cartoon The Chipmunks.

Beyonce laughed: “The song was on the Chipmunks series and all of the kids are like, ‘Oh, that’s the Chipmunk song!’ My daughter actually does the hand movement and sings, ‘Uh oh’.”

Downton Abbey star LAURA CARMICHAEL has insisted she is happy to play the dowdy sister on the hit show.

The actress - who stars as Lady Edith Crawley alongside her more elegant sibling Lady Mary (MICHELLE DOCKERY) - told Love magazine she would feel under pressure if she was a sex symbol.

Laura said: “I think it must be so hard to start your career with everyone going on about how gorgeous you are. To be in that bracket must be so pressurised.”

NOISETTES star SHINGAI SHONIWA has cut short her first holiday in six years to perform at the Baftas after-show party.

The Don’t Upset The Rhythm singer has been touring with the band non-stop for six years, and finally took some time off to visit Zimbabwe. But she is coming back to London early after she was asked to perform at the glamorous film awards.

Shingai said: “I’m really, really excited. I was a little bit gutted by having to put my trip back. I’ve cut my trip to Zimbabwe by a couple of days, but it means so much to me that I’ve decided to just pack as much sunshine as I can in my suitcase and bring some back to the UK.

“The Noisettes have pretty much been on tour for six years, since our first album came out in 2007. We’ve had three albums and touring all the time, so I’ve just taken all my unclaimed holiday and shoved it into the last five weeks. And I feel rejuvenated and I can’t wait to go back to work.”

Former EastEnders actress GILLIAN TAYLFORTH is returning to soapland after landing a role in Hollyoaks.
