Christmas Day ice skating on offer in aid of Lancashire children's charity

A Lancashire ice rink is opening up on Christmas Day for anyone who wants a festive skate.

The rink is running a session on Christmas Day

Planet Ice in Blackburn will be open from 10am until 12 noon on Christmas Day for a skating session.

And all proceeds from the day will go to Derian House children's hospice in Mawdesley.

A spokesman for Planet Ice said: "All money raised from the Christmas Day skate will go to providing much-needed equipment and supplies to all children who are using the hospice now and in the future.

The skate session will cost £5.
