The popular Oktoberfest is returning to Preston next year.
Organisers have confirmed the knees-up will return to the city in 2018.
And it may have a new larger venue.
Preston’s Flag Market was transformed into a outpost of Bavaria last weekend as the city held its own version of the famous German celebration.
Held on both Friday and Saturday, there was beer, bratwurst and lederhosen galore with hundreds of revellers in attendance
Now it will return on October 12 and 13 2018.
Tickets have now gone on sale.
But the venue has not been revealed.
Organisers Oktoberfestofficial posted on Facebook: “Oktoberfest Preston 2018 is now on sale! Remember the Saturday evening session sold out 3 months in advance. ”
Coun Peter Kelly, Preston Council’s cabinet member for culture and leisure, said the Oktoberfest had been a great success,
The organisers had requested a larger venue and the council would help facilitate that.
