A Lancashire businessman threw an unforgettable Christmas party for sick children from the North West at a very special location.
Prime Minister David Cameron, and his wife Samantha, asked the deputy mayor of Clitheroe, Kevin Horkin, if he would kindly help to organise for fifteen youngsters to make the trip to Downing Street.
The children from hospices across the North West, their parents and carers were invited to London thanks to the Lancashire businessman’s links with the Conservative Party.
Kevin, who is also the owner of several retail stores in East Lancashire said: “I was delighted to help and the children, their families and their carers had a marvellous time at Number 10.
“It was a super party and a truly unforgettable experience for all the children.”
TV Presenters and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here stars, Ant McPartlin & Declan Donnelly were also among the guests who were in attendance at the Downing Street party.
