Striking pictures of Super Pink Moon over Lancashire

It might not have been super-pink, but last night's super moon did still cast a striking lunar glow over the rooftops of Lancashire.

Whilst not noticeably pink, the moon was about 14 per cent larger than an average full moon when it reached its zenith at 3.35am this morning (Wednesday, April 8).

If you missed it, these are some of the striking shots of the super pink moon in the skies above Lancashire.
