Scottish folk trio set to play at Garstang Library

One of Scotland's most popular folk bands will take to the stage at Garstang Library next week.

North Sea Gas are bringing their “Fire In The Glen” tour to the Windsor Road library on Thursday February 23 at 7.30pm.

The trio, Dave Gilfillan, Grant Simpson and Ronnie MacDonald combine their great vocals and tremendous three part harmonies with an array of instruments including: guitars, mandolin, fiddle, bouzouki, harmonica, whistles, bodhrans, banjo, topped off with plenty of good humour.

Their style has proven hugely popular during their regular tours of Scotland, America, Canada, Germany, Austria, Estonia, Turkey and many other destinations both in and outside of their home in Scotland.

A spokesperson said : “These guys are terrific performers that have been hugely popular wherever they go, with bags of experience touring right across the globe.”
