Scary(ish) party fun for families

Guy’s Thatched Hamlet in Bilsborrow, near Garstang, is pulling out all the stops to celebrate Halloween in style this half term.

On Sunday the popular venue will host a ‘Not So Scary’ children’s Halloween Party.

The event starts at 1pm and has lots going on for all the family.

There will a magical marquee where the fancy dress competition will take place with prizes for the best dressed.

There will also be a pumpkin competition with prizes for the best carved and the biggest.

Entertainment will be provided by Darrell Edwards with his musical roadshow and there will be a Punch & Judy and magic show, circus skills school, fairground rides and more

The Halloween fun doesn’t finish there, as there’s plenty to keep the youngsters entertained during Guy’s ‘Not so Scary’ half term Halloween week.

From Monday to Sunday families are encouraged to pop in and enjoy fairground rides, pumpkin carving, cake decorating, crafts and more.

On Thursday between 6pm and 9pm there will be a Little Monsters Halloween Disco where there will be a spooky evening of treats for all the family.
