Ruffs Dog Show comes to park

Discover the hidden talents of your family pooch by bringing them out to the Ruffs Dog Show in Ashton Park this weekend.

The annual doggy day out goes ahead in the park, off Pedders Lane, Ashton, on Saturday from 11am until 4pm.

Puppies and adult dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds are welcome.

Free microchipping for your pet will be available along with lots of advice on their welfare and the best ways to keep them healthy and happy.

And, of course, there will be plenty of great doggy competitions and prizes.

Entry to watch the show is free but if you want to enter your dog in the competitions, the fee is £1 entry fee per pet in each category
