Music fans to get big screen treat

Fans of the Beatles and Australian alternative crooner Nick Cave can see their heroes on the silver screen.

The Vue Cinema in Cleveleys is showing a series of live concerts, theatre performances and films in the coming weeks.

A one off show of Nick Cave’s new album Skeleton Tree will screen on September 8, while Ron Howards new documentary The Beatles: Eight Days a Week will be shown on September 15. The venue will also be showing a live performance of the hit musical Miss Saigon on October 16 and The Royal Opera’s performance of Norma on September 26. Andre Rieu’s Christmas concert will be screened on November 16.
