Longridge singer Hayley Eccles says '˜there's more to come' after The Voice UK exit

The 22-year-old from Longridge made it to the live knock-out stages but didn’t make the final three despite earning plenty of praise from the celebrity judges.

But Hayley says she’s only taking positives from her time on the show, promising fans there’s more to come.

She said: “It’s just been crazy but I absolutely loved being on stage every time.

“Everything happened so fast and to get some good comments from those kinds of people is amazing.

“Turning up at the blind audition you never know how far you’ll get, so to make it this far is good for me.

“Now I’ll just be working on myself, writing songs, performing covers and showing sides of me people might not have seen before.”

Despite some strong comments from the judges for her rendition of Lady Antebellum’s ‘I Need You Now’ Hayley didn’t make Will.i.am’s final three.

After not being voted through by the public on Saturday night, Hayley was left on tenterhooks as the former Black Eyed Peas star dallied over his final choice before eventually picking rival Tanya.

Hayley’s dad Geno also auditioned for the show but failed to make it past the blind audition stage.

The 54-year-old said: “Hayley’s done brilliantly and it’s been a fantastic experience for her - I’m so proud.”

“I have no regrets and I’m definitely not upset because it’s all been amazing,” Hayley said. “I’ve made some great memories and I’m looking forward to fully concentrating on my music now and getting as much material out there as possible.”
