Here is where you can pick your own Halloween pumpkin in or near Lancashire

Picking pumpkins in the autumn has been a long running tradition in the United States, and it looks like British farmers are getting in on the act.

In fact, the trend proved so popular last year that one Lancashire farm sold out in just two weeks.So if you are looking for a patch near you, here are a selection of pumpkin picking farms around the region:

When: Pumpkin season at Kenyon Hall Farm runs from October 13, 2018 to October 28, 2018.

How much: Entry to the pumpkin patch is free. Pumpkin prices range from £2 to £15 depending on size.

When: Windmill Animal Farm's pumpkin picking adventure runs from October 13, 2018 to October 31, 2018, daily between 10am and 6pm.

How much: Entry is free. Pumpkin are £4 each and three for £10.
