Funeral of the late Bobby Ball to take place in Lytham on November 17

The family of the late comic legend Bobby Ball have shared details of his funeral, which will take place in Lytham on Tuesday November 17.

Owing to Covid lockdown restrictions only invited guests will be able to attend the funeral service, which will be held at the Hope Church in Preston Road, Lytham.

However, for those who want to pay their respects in a socially distanced way, the family has released details of the procession route.in accordance with the regulations and the funeral cortege will take a route from Lowther Gardens at 11.40am onto Church Road, Market Square, Clifton Street and to end of Warton Street ahead of the service at 12 noon.

The family have said donations will be welcome to Blue Skies Hospital Fund and Lowther Pavilion, both for which Bobby was a long time patron and supporter.
