Chorley squash star Laura Massaro is one win away from a shot at Commonwealth Games gold.
The former world No.1 will contest the semifinal of the doubles on Saturday when she and her partner Sarah-Jane Perry goes up against Indian pairing Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal Karthik.
Having won a combined total of three silvers from the previous two Commonwealth Games, Massaro will be hoping to finally achieve gold.
However, defeat on Saturday will see her contest the bronze medal match on Sunday.
The English pair booked their place in the last four by beating Malaysia duo Rachel Arnold and Sivasangari Subramaniam 11-8 11-10
