Preston boss Alex Neil relishing latest trip to Elland Road to face Championship leaders Leeds
Preston might have a tough assignment ahead of them against table-toppers Leeds but Alex Neil is relishing the trip to Elland Road.
The North End boss likes the atmosphere and surroundings of Leeds’ home ground and he hopes to enjoy it even more with three points tonight.
Neil said: “I love going to Elland Road, it is a ground I really enjoy.”

“I always get a bit of stick off their fans for whatever reason, but in the main my teams have done well there in terms of a performance.
“Elland Road is one of the great older establishments you go to and has got a good atmosphere.
“Their fans are excellent and really get behind the team.”
Leeds top the table and are unbeaten in the league but it needed an 89th-minute equaliser against Millwall on Saturday to preserve the good run – Jack Harrison with the goal.
It is a strong start under Marcelo Biesla, the former Argentina and Chile head coach. Neil is not surprised to see Leeds at the summit, even taking into account last term’s 13th-place finish.
“Thomas Christiansen had them top of the league last October,” said Neil.
“Then two months later Thomas went from being top of the table to being out of the door.
“Marcelo Biesla has come in and started well, he has got them working hard and they are organised.”
