Made a very good save from Wells early in the second half and a couple of more standard ones in the first. Good performance.
Typical Fisher display, didnt let much past him down that side of the pitch and managed the game well.

Strong display at the heart of the defence and produced a fine volley for North Ends key second goal. Has a very bright future.
Read the game very well, confident to take a touch when distributing from the back. Handled QPR sub Smith well in second half.
Effective at left-back and solid. Won more of his battles than he lost down that flank. The Welshman is a real steady Eddie.
He ran the game from a deep midfield role, almost every pass finding its intended target. Pearson was the heartbeat of this win.
His set-piece delivery led to two of the goals. Gallaghers use of space, so too his calmness on the ball, was important.
His pressing of Scowen created the first goal and the Irishman later headed PNEs third. Full of running and drive as ever.
Rounded-off the scoring with his first goal for Preston. A bit loose with the ball a couple of times but otherwise very decent.
Operated on the left-wing and gave PNE an attacking threat from there. Still feeling his way back after injury but got through 70 minutes.
Produced a measured finish for the opener, a fine way to open his Preston account. Led the forward line well.
Replaced Maguire for the last 20 minutes and used his pace well a couple of times.
It was his run and shot which led to the fourth goal for Potts. Stretched a tiring QPR defence
