Made three good saves, the best being to claw away a Fletcher header. The one to deny Matias before the goal was very good too.
One of the recalled right-backs better displays this season, managed the game well and set up a great chance for Barkhuizen.

Decent enough performance up against the height of Fletcher and Joao. Snuffed out their threat for large parts.
Solid in the main although Fletcher got the better of him a couple of times. Handled the hosts pressure well enough.
Lost Hector for the goal but did he get a little shove? His distribution and use of the ball needed a bit more polish.
Only on the pitch for 26 minutes before his red card which some might say was harsh while others said justified.
Maybe didnt have the impact of recent games but wearing the skippers armband, he was also looking for the ball.
Struggled to make an impact, either out wide or up front. Has to shoulder a lot of responsibility for someone of limited experience.
Started in the No.10 role before dropping deeper when Pearson was sent-off. Not much chance to show off his creative side.
Missed a good chance to equalise when he headed over from close range. Was on the fringes of the game.
Lasted 47 minutes before his hamstring began to trouble him. Led the line with precious little support after Pearsons red card.
Early second-half sub for Moult, played on the right side of midfield.
Replaced Nmecha as North End shuffled the pack in search of an equaliser.
Fourth substitute appearance in a row, this his longest. Showed a couple of nice touches.
