It’s four weeks to go to the start of Cheltenham, the most important jumps meeting of the season, and here’s a chance to win tickets for a Festival preview night and to win an authoritative guide to the big fixture.
In conjunction with the Northern Racing Club, we are offering three pairs of tickets for the preview night at Haydock Park on March 6 - in addition, each of the three winners gets a copy of the Weatherbys Cheltenham Guide, which provides an excellent guide to all four days of the Festival and will help organise your bets.
There will be an excellent panel for the preview night, headlined by Brian Hughes, who is the leading jockey in the North.
Also appearing will be trainer Micky Hammond, attheraces television pundit Andy Gibson and Kyle Drummond, from the event sponsors Star Sports
To win one of the three pairs of tickets for the night and a copy of the book, answer the following question:
Name the horse that won the 2016 Cheltenham Gold Cup (pictured).
Email your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The closing date for entries is mid-day February 20.
For those who don’t win the competition, the Haydock preview evening represents plenty of value for money.
