Medal for Preston ace Kathryn

Preston swimmer Kathryn Greenslade had reason to celebrate as Wales claimed bronze in the women's 4x100 metres medley relay as Australia won another Commonwealth gold.

Georgia Davies, Chloe Tutton, Alys Thomas and Fulwood’s Greenslade – who swims for the University of Edinburgh – held off England to take the final podium place behind the hosts and silver medallists Canada.

It was Wales’ third medal of the night in the pool.
