Kew Gardens can triumph in Arc

The famous course in the west of the city has traditionally provided the last chance of the season for the three-year-old Classic generation to lock horns with their older established rivals.

This year is no different, with superstar filly Enable up against Irish Oaks winner Sea of Class and St Leger victor Kew Gardens.

It is a tricky race for punters with the form book back home tending to get ripped up a tad, as a stiff hill and sweep into the home straight can throw some big prices bang into the mix.

The favourite Enable looks no value to me at a best price of 11/10 and it is Aidan O’Brien’s tough stayer Kew Gardens who gets my vote. He showed he has the speed to get home over even further in the Leger, when seeing off fancied filly Lah Ti Dar.
