When in charge at the New Den, he guided Millwall to promotion and to the semi-finals of the FA Cup. In Jackett’s first season in charge of Wolves, he guided them to the League One title. Last season, they missed out on the play-offs by one place.

Somerset referee Kevin Johnson is the man in the midde for PNE’s clash with Wolves at Molineux. It is the first time Johnson has taken charge of a Preston game, this his second season on the Football League list. He refereed Cardiff’s 0-0 draw with MK Dons last week.
