When is the quarter-final draw?

The draw for the quarter finals and beyond will take place in Nyon, Switzerland at 11am on Friday 20 March.

Unlike the previous rounds, there will be no seedings for the draw – meaning each team has an equal chance of facing any other team, regardless of their respective rankings or past performances.

Similarly, there will be no country protection in play this time around – so clubs from the same nation can be drawn against one another.

Each team will learn not only their opposition for the quarter final but the bracket they have been placed into for the semi-final, should they make it through – i.e. the winners of quarter-final A will play the winners of quarter-final B, and the winners of C will play D.

The full draw will be broadcast live over the UEFA Champions League website.

The Champions League draw will be followed directly by the draw for the final rounds of the Europa League. It is scheduled to begin at 12pm and will be broadcast live from the UEFA Europa League page.
