“We’ve not had good weather but the forecast is looking better,” he said.
“We’ve already beaten Vickerstown 4-1 this season at our place. We’re not going to underestimate them. Last time out they got a good victory against Hesketh Bank.”
Town have won three of their last four league games, beating Thornton Cleveleys away back in late November, Garstang at home in January and an away win at Euxton Villa two weeks ago.

Ashcroft has a good record against Vickerstown, winning the last three matches with Town scoring 16 goals and conceding just four.
Last season Lee Ashcroft’s men won 7-2 at Park Vale with captain Jordan Tucker and Ryan McKenna scoring two, each and there were contributions from Jordan Bowen, Jonty McDonald and ex-Town striker Rick Coar.
Due to the recent wet weather, Town have had six league games and a cup match postponed since the end of November.
