Controversial Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley (pictured, left) is rumoured to be considering a 350 million bid from the Sheikh Khaled-fronted Bin Zayed Group.

After a week of negotiations Neil Pinkerton's take over of the National League club has been rubber-stamped - the 36-year-old is in joint ownership with local businessman Trevor Clark.
